As a part of the WinShape Foundation, WinShape Camps' mission is to glorify God by creating experiences that transform campers and families with the message of Jesus Christ. Over 30 years ago, we launched our first overnight camp on the campus of Berry College in Rome, GA. Fast forward a few years and you can now find WinShape Camps in over 100 communities around the country. We even do camp in Costa Rica and Brazil! While our camp locations have expanded over the years, they all point back to the same mission – to create experiences that transform.

Our Story
Founded by S. Truett Cathy, WinShape Camps launched life-changing summers with our very first overnight camp in 1985. That early experience set the stage for how we do camps today—creating fun and faithful places for campers and families to learn more about Jesus in a Christ-centered environment. What we do makes a huge impact, serving 30,000 campers, their families each year (not to mention the 700+ Summer Staff who help make it happen). On top of our attention to hospitality and service is a commitment to doing things the right way.
Safety & Security
At WinShape Camps, we know what an honor it is for you to trust us with your kids for a day, a week, or two weeks, and so we take safety and security very seriously. It is important to us that we provide spaces where your kid is safe and protected while exploring, making friends, having fun and learning more about God.
Our team is currently monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will be sharing the safety steps we're taking as we get closer to Summer.
Top-Notch Staff, Trained By Experts
At the end of every summer, our parents write to us bragging about one thing over and over again – our Summer Staff. Over the course of several months, our team scouts campuses nationwide to recruit top-notch, college-aged students. Each applicant goes through an extensive application process and a 30-minute face-to-face interview. All of this is done to determine how well they could work with our campers and, more importantly, how well they could teach them about Jesus through a Biblical lens. Once they've been offered a job, all Summer Staff undergo a background check and safety training before being brought together for a week of intentional development from experts.

WinShape Camps International
WinShape Camps International exists to unite local churches and communities outside of the United States with the message of Jesus Christ through the experience of camp. Working alongside our partners, we execute fun, locally-led day camp experiences in Brazil and Costa Rica during the spring and summer. We love seeing the Lord glorified as local volunteers are empowered, communities are impacted, and campers experience Jesus. Every spring we invite Summer Staff to join us on short-term trips to Brazil and Costa Rica. Summer Staff are able to use their camp experience and passion as they serve alongside our partners and local leaders internationally.
